 CLUB NOTES 30TH AUGUST

Pride of place this week goes to our Junior B hurlers who after just 1 year in existence have reached the championship semi final. The team is managed by club stalwarts Tony Larkin, Jack Hughes and Frank Lynch and great credit is due to all concerned for the progress to date. Congratulations to Denise (Team Captain), Cliodhna, Karen and the "Jackies" who have reached the All Ireland Ladies football final for the second successive year. The opposition will be provided by either Tyrone or Kerry. Hopefully the Brendan Martin Cup will make Dublin its home on the 26th of September. Our Under 11 and 12 Girls enjoyed a trip to the game in Carlow playing a friendly against Eire Og on the way. We thank Eire Og for their hospitality. We wish a speedy recovery to Ronan Colreavy who suffered a bad shoulder injury in the football championship over the weekend. Senior Hurlers have a vital championship game at home on Saturday evening against Ballinteer St. John’s. We need the support of all club members for this game. Don't forget, if you are not going to the All Ireland hurling final you can come along to the Club and watch it on our big screens. Club Lotto is now over €3000. Please continue to support it. Juvenile fixtures resume next weekend
